- our initial contact was quickly responded to and the arrangements were confirmed, however this was very confusing and we needed a few emails to ensure we were comfortable that service we asked for was being delivered. Suggest you need to create a standard format for your replies to clients, a template, which includes and confirms all relevant information re pick up, times, type of car, numbers, date etc. This would help with your client being more comfortable, particularly for anyone who is visiting Moscow for the first time.
It sometimes takes more than a minute due to rush hours (with extreme loads on our operators) or when we need to check data in the request. The problem that DOES happen sometimes is the clients’ request going to SPAM folder or our replies going thereto.
- pick up at airport was fine, however pick up at hotel was confusing as we expected a car and not a taxi, we waited for a few minutes before getting a call from you to confirm a taxi was waiting outside of hotel. The driver could have got out of the cab and let the hotel receptionist know he was waiting, he would have seen us standing outside of the hotel. Again this caused confusion and at early hours of morning unwanted.
Point taken, but some hotels in Moscow don't have available parking lots for the driver to put the car and go to the reception or even for the car to stand still waiting at the exit and sometimes the car has to cruise around the block (!) again and again before the client comes out. Moreover, downtown parking rules, introduced in Moscow, seem messy and sometimes even the car WITH the driver inside standing on the street induces subsequent parking fine.

When I first contacted Angel via livechat, the response and answers were prompt. That booking emails thereafter was speedy and with sufficient accurate information. Very nice that the free one hour greet and meet can be started 30 minutes after ETA which gave us time to buy SIM card. We used Angel Taxis in February 2018 to take our students to Moscow City. I had agreed a price for the 8 seater minibus by email before I left the UK. The Angel taxi driver arrived on time to the airport and we had a pleasant journey to the capital. He dropped us off in the downtown at around 6pm and we agreed to be picked up at 10pm. The taxi operator contacted me and he was happy for me to ring him if we had any problems. We enjoyed our tour of Red Square but it got really cold and I rang to see if we could be picked up at 9pm instead. This was no bother and our taxi driver came to meet us and took us back. I would like to recommend this to any traveller who needs a safe and reliable service to and from the airport. I felt safe and secure knowing that the Angel Taxi firm would help us as it was our first visit to Moscow. Our main trip was a school exchange project “Challenge To Change” in Kirovsk where we are twinned with School. We spent a wonderful week with the staff and pupils of School 7 and were amazed at their warmth and hospitality. We hope that when School 7 visits us in Ireland next year they will receive the same great treatment! Thank you Angel Taxi for making our last day in Russia so special and safe!

We made arrangements with Angel Taxi before our trip from the U.S. My wife and I flew into Sheremetyevo airport, where our driver was waiting to take us to our hotel. After spending a few days sightseeing in Moscow, our driver picked us up at the hotel and took us to Sheremetyevo airport to catch a Russian domestic flight. On returning to Moscow, more than two months later our driver was waiting for us at Vnukovo airport and took us to our hotel near Sheremetyevo airport. Everything worked smoothly. We would definitely use them again.

I wanted a free and easy tour to Suzdal, Vladimir and Siergev Posad and Alex, our guide, was quick to advise. Although it required many many emails before anything was resolved, it all went well. He speaks good english and we enjoyed our time in those 3 small towns. The Museum of Wooden Architecture was beautiful with the snow. Alex also introduced some georgian andlocal food to us like kvass and beetroot salad. Only thing that didnt deserve another star was that my husband is a 6 footer and Alex is even taller and we had to squeeze into a sedan car with all our bulky winter clothes. Would have been better in a van (like other tours). All good tho.

The Sergiev Posad tour was definitely one of our highlights of our entire trip. It was a stark contrast from our visits to Moscow and even St. Petersburg. We took the Kremlin tour with a very nice and knowledgeable guide (Alexander). We were able to jump the queues at both the Kremlin gate and the Armory entrance. This is also the only tour I can find that includes a visit to the Diamond Fund, which is eye opening. Highly recommend.

All of the tour was good and enjoyable. I liked the most visiting the Lavra and the artist's house. I liked to see and being told about all the old things which nowadays nobody uses anymore. The artist and his wife seemed very welcoming and nice persons. It felt very private and it defenitly felt being well off tourist tracks, which we always love. The tour through Lavra was perfect concerning duration and our guide was enthusiastic, which we liked. Our daughter Nathalie ejoyed the artist's house most, also the Matreschkas. The other daughter Julika enjoyed most the Matruschkas as well, their making and the traditional Russian food. The place for lunch was very nice to our taste. Of course it was a pleasure that the ride from and back to Moscow came on time without waiting time. The driver (also to and from DME) drove safely.

Unfortunately, severe traffic jams in Moscow often happen and that is why instead of a pre-assigned driver we have to dispatch the nearest one. If KIA Sportage III or similar SUVs and estate cars on average are too small for 4 passengers and luggage, we'd recommend our clients to book a minivan to be on the safe side.
We were a party of four that booked a tour with Angel Tours Moscow to the Monino air force museum and we could not be more happy! We had Alexander as a guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about air crafts and the history behind them. Alexander is a fantastic guide and very friendly. The Monino Museum is a must for everyone interested in air crafts and engineering. The museum is outdoors and covers the early history to present time, truly an amazing museum, one of the best in the world of it's kind. The driver picked that picked us up at the hotel was excellent and we all agreed that the whole arrangement was really professional. We used Angel Tours for our transfers from and to the Domodedovo Airport and also for a private car tour of the city of Moscow and a day visit to the monastery complex of Sergiev Posad. The airport transfers were OK with just a slightly late arrival of the driver on both directions but without creating any problem.
The day visit to Sergiev Posad was amazing. The whole complex is extremely see worthing, interesting and beautiful. Alexander, our excellent guide, arranged for us a guide in our language, Greek, which made more interesting our visit. A special mention should be made to that lady Elena for her knowledge of the history of the place and her professionalism but also for her knowledge of the Greek language. Next day our visit of the city of Moscow, always guided by Alexander, was also very successful. Alexander has a very satisfactory knowledge of his subject and he speaks a perfect English. He contributed a lot to the success of our trip to Moscow! We recommend Angel Tours and also personally Alexander and Elena to all readers planning to visit Moscow.

Did three tours in one day: Sergiev Posad; Stalin Bunker; and Izmailovsky Market. Our guide, Alexander, was excellent, and very knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend using this tour company. We also used them for our airport pickup and drop off from SVO. For both, they were prompt and professional and the vehicle was clean.
This taxi company is very reliable. Rates are always very transparent and clear from the beginning. During my transfer from airport to apartment, the driver waited for me 2 hours at airport since I experienced a very long queue at passport control. Instead of going away leaving me in troubles, he waited for me the entire time at the airport, and I paid just a little extra money for the waiting. It's also possible to communicate with them via Whatsapp and/or Viber! This is very important if you are planning to use only Wi-Fi and you have no way to call russian numbers from your mobile phone. It's also important to keep in touch with them while waiting for taxi in order to minimize any inconvenience (for example, I just told them in advance that I was going to be late at the airport, therefore they informed the driver and I found him outside even after 2 hours of waiting time). I really recommend this company for your trips in Moscow!

Use them from SVO airport to hotel. The driver waited with my name outside customs, The car is small but clean. Driver did not speak English but more importantly his use of the GPS to avoid as much traffic as possible. Their charge was slightly higher than other taxi companies.

Dear Clients, this fall Moscow has seen unusual unexpected traffic jams most of the time and in all the directions, hence 1) in case the English-speaking driver gets into a traffic jam en route to an airport we replace him with the closest one who doesn't speak English and our English-speaking operators coordinate Meet & Greet; 2) please allocate plenty of time for your departures to airports to be on the safe side: ailrlines want you to be at the airport at least 2 hrs before the int'l flights, factor in at least 1-1,5 hrs to get to an airport from Moscow downtown. 3) Angel is one of the few taxi companies in Moscow that charge per mileage, not per time, hence our fixed prices for the taxi in Moscow. That is why there is not use for our drivers to drive around the city to inflate the bill - the price is fixed, irrespective on how long or how much you would drive during the trip, whose fare is calculated on the shortest route. I had contacted Angel Taxi before we (group of 4 adults) started our journey from Sharjah (UAE) to Moscow and they arranged pick up from the Airport to the Hotel we had booked. The driver was waiting outside with a sign board and was easy to locate. We had night programs fixed and we booked the taxi to take us to the venue and drop us back after the show. The service was on time and we would rate the service as outstanding. Similarly we had booked the taxi to drop us at the Station to take the early train to St. Petersburg and pick us back when we returned late the same day after sightseeing there. The taxi was spot on time both ways. Angel tours had arranged a sight-seeing tour in St Petersburg and we would recommend that anybody visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg get in touch with Angel Taxi/ Tours to get the best deal. They have excellent English speaking guides who really knows the job and provide with all information that you need to know about a particular landmark. On our return, Angel Taxi provided the vehicle with an English speaking driver to drop us back at the Airport. To conclude, we recommend all tourists who have never been to Russia, to contact Angel Taxi/ tours for outstanding service. We would also comment that the rates are very reasonable copared to what the Hotels charge you for pickup and drop off at the Airport.

Everything was ok, got all requested information very quickly; Taxidriver already was waiting for us at the airport; very kind and polite Taxidriver. unfortunately paying by credit card was not possible.
I used Angel Taxi for a total of 5 transfers last week. The booking on line took a little time to provide the addresses and such. We had 3 shuttles going to the airport at 7:15 am, 9am, and 4 pm; and shuttles going from river cruise port to hotel. Once that was done. It exceeded my expectation. The drivers were professional and on time. Some of them spoke little English, but they had sign with my name. I received updates from Alexander (angel Taxi) advising me of road traffic and the arrival of my driver. Prices were very reasonable and agreed upon before hand. Highly recommended to any traveler to Moscow.

Super visit to Monino Museum. We had asked Alexander of Angel Taxi to organize a custom, all-day visit to Monino Air Forces Museum my son and I had been planning for a long time. Our expectations were high but Angel Taxi met them in full. They picked us up at the hotel in Moscow early and we arrived at Monino Museum as it was opening its doors. We stayed until closing time. Alexander accompanied us throughout the visit and proved to be a very knowledgeable guide. He had also arranged for a retired senior Air Force pilot to join us for a couple of hours and give us an insight of what it was to develop and fly some of the aircraft on display. Fascinating stuff! It was a very warm day but Alexander had been thoughtful enough to bring bottles of cold water with him. We really appreciated the attention. At the end of our visit, Alexander drove us back safely to our hotel, after a truly memorable day. We will look no further than Angel Taxi for our future needs for transportation in Moscow (or other cities where Angel operates). They really offer superb service at a fair price and do go the extra mile to please their clients. Well done!

Amazing Aviation History. We were in Moscow for two days and I had always heard through aviation circles that the Monino museum was worth visiting. Most of my enquiry at the hotel desk remained unanswered other than it was a way out of town. After much searching the net I came up with an email address for Angel taxis and sent a short notice hopeful email. Alexander immediately responded and a very useful dialogue started even including weather advice, culminating in my family and I being picked up from our hotel the next day, driven to Monino museum and given a guided tour. Alexander at Angel TAXI is a miracle worker, he knows so much about Russian aviation history and the whole experience went as smooth as clockwork. Very impressive indeed. The museum itself is stunning and is a mandatory visit for any aviators or enthusiasts.
Superb Tour of Soviet Era Aircraft. Superb tour and service. On time and knowledgeable. Monino Museum is a fascinating place to visit and my guide, Alexander was not just knowledgeable about there aircraft, he is also a great supporter of the Monino museum and the area, as he lives locally. I would recommend this tour very much, particularly as the museum is under threat of closure at the time of visiting.

“A brave new world”, was exactly how my guide introduced me to the journey I was about to take getting to know Moscow and St. Petersburg. I spent three weeks researching where to go, what to see and how to get to each destination. I reached out to several companies and every time Angel Tours Moscow not only replied quickly but their prices were totally fair for the level of service I was requesting.
The bonus for me was that Angel Tours of Moscow provides two services that matched my needs exactly – touring the sites and getting to the sites. I planned a 7 day trip to experience Moscow and St. Petersburg which included airport pickups, pickup to and from high speed train, taxi service to and from hotels and restaurants. Upon my arrival, I was met by Igor, a really happy guy with a great smile. There he was standing at the gate exit with a sign with my name ready to take me and my bag and drive me to Hotel Kamergersky. My hotel was located on a pedestrian street so Igor could not drive me to my hotel door. As Igor was explaining this point to me, he gestured to the taxi door and there, smiling, was Alexander, the man behind Angel Tours in Moscow. Hi, he said. Here let me help you. He took my hand helping me out of the taxi. He then insisted on taking my bag and then proceeded to walk me to my hotel – not just to the door but made sure that I was checked in and after which he confirmed the times for pickup for our first tour.
Throughout this trip my experience with Angel Tours of Moscow was wonderfully the same. Igor was always right on time for each and every pickup and each tour guide was always so accommodating. When planning your trip please see if these tour guides are available Alexander, Masha, Nadya and Alyona and of course Igor.
On the last day of my trip, I made a last minute request. I asked to be taken 2 hours outside of Moscow to a town called Fedoskino. In Fedoskino they make the famous Lacquer boxes and they are one of the oldest manufactures of this wonderful craft. I figured I’m all the way here in Russia and since it’s not around the corner from Los Angeles, I ought to take a chance and see if I can make it to Fedoskino so that I can see first-hand the magic of how Lacquer boxes are made. I called Alexander and shared my request and after a few moments of arranging he called me back with a confirmed pickup time – Wow! Of course Igor was right on time and away we went. My visit to Fedoskinofactor was wonderful – especially since I love learning how things are made and those boxes are just so wonderful. I was over the moon happy with my decision to take the last minute trip to Fedoskino.
In my opinion if you’re looking for a company that can transport you around Moscow and St. Petersburg look no further than Angel Tours of Moscow. They are friendly, their prices are fair, they’re accommodating, prompt and all of it with a smile. I would use their service again without hesitation.

Fantastic Private Tours in Moscow Area. My teenage daughter had knee surgery and thus I had to cancel the physical accelerated-pace group tour and get a private tour last minute so we could take it easy, if needed. What a great experience it turned out to be with Angel Taxi. Friendly, on time, knowledgeable, and comfortable autos. Alex planned our tour considering our situation and requests. We brought a wheel chair and they accommodated. We also brought my 75 year old mother. Our 1st tour was to Serguiev Posad. We were so comfortable in the Audi 6. The driver was so pleasant and went out of his way so that I could re-load my cell phone coverage at Beeline. Alex was the guide and he is from this town & clearly he is passionate about it and loves the area. It's so beautiful. The monastery was a must-see. Also enjoyed the things he added to the tour such as the Matryoshka studio & museums. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, intelligent and cares about you really getting to know Russia, then book this agency. Our 2nd tour was Moscow proper. We spent most of the day in the Kremlin. We visited Lenin's tomb which is impactful. Of course, went into St. Basil's, and many interesting things within the Kremlin. The most amazing was the visit to the Armoury and the State Diamond Fund. Wow. I have seen many museums in the world. Nothing beats the Armoury for collection of carriages and costumes. Nothing beats the museum of jewels and gold; better even than the Crown Jewels in Tower of London. Alex took us to a local chain of pancakes & blinis...cheap and so yummy. Try the clear birch tree juice. We also loved pelmeni, vareniki. I loved the tuna tartar salad but Alex doesn't recommend it in Moscow. Regardless it was yummy. We never got sick. Our 3rd day of tour was to Suzdal. Vladimir and Bogolyubsky (towns in the Golden Ring). It was a super long day. In retrospect, I would have split this in 2 days. I still think Suzdal, the furthest, is worth it. The village recreated for a museum is a great stop. Vladimir was once the capital of Russia. Bogolyubsky was a worthy stop...here we visited an operating monastery and tasted the nun's kvas (a non- alcoholic refreshing drink made from fermented wheat & rye, I think). BTW, Angel Taxi also provided us with airport transfers and they were very good at it. We really loved our trip to Russia.
Very good experience with the help from airport shermetejevo to hotel. Only ring road around Moscow very clugged up with cars. Taxi driver was very knowledgeable handeling the traffic jam.

Pick up was good and friendly, driver explaining some stuff as he drove to the destination and suggested me to get a drink by the roadside stall before heading to the Peterhof palace as things are more expensive there. Once Denis arrived I was very happy. He was very nice and the vehicle was fantastic. The journey to our hotel was VERY comfortable and enjoyable and Denis was very friendly and spoke good English too. It was a bonus that we had wifi in the taxi too which meant I could go on Facebook and compliment your company. I would definitely recommend Angel Taxis to anyone else who visited Moscow! Your service was faultless! The two drivers we got were both good. In particular the first, Vova (if I remember correctly) was able to talk in English fluently, gave us useful advices and was very easy going with our son. As it is already mentioned in your site the biggest issue is that your answer goes directly to the spam folder. It happened to me as well! It was just by luck that I checked the always crowded spam folder. Could be an issue with gmail, so you could browse the internet for suggestion. I suggest that you instruct the driver about the location of restaurants, bars and shops around the location of the customers' hotel, perhaps providing them with business card for the restaurants etc.. I have been meaning to give you this feedback and to thank you for all the service. It was very very nice. I even talked to my friend how nice and on time it all went, and that made us very happy! The presentation of the 2nd driver (who took us from the Golden Apple hotel to the train station in Moscow) was very good and the car was really clean. He was on time and very nice helping with the luggage. It was perfect. The payments were smooth and we had no problems whatsoever. The 3rd driver (the one who picked us up on the train station in St. Petersburg and took us to Lion hotel) was also very very nice, he helped with the bags all the way and gave us precious information about the city. He was very talkative and nice. The car was clean and comfortable. He even went inside the train to look for us. He was very friendly. We loved him. The first driver was also punctual, but he did not help with the bags and he "ran really fast" in the streets outside the airport, and we were so tired after the long flight it was very hard to follow him, specially because the bags. For a moment I thought about stop trying to follow him because it was too hard and he was very fast. But he looked back and got one bag out of us near the car. His car was very very dirty. But he was nice, spoke English and accepted payment in dollars which was good for us since we didn't have rubles. So it was all good. I think everything went really well and I totally recommend your services ! I wanna thank you so much for everything. It made our trip so easy and convenient.

This company rocks! I used their taxi service when arriving and departing Moscow and both times everything was perfect. On our arriving flight we had a delay in our flight. I was able to email the company and inform them of the delay and to adjust my pick up time not once but twice. Everything was done professionally and our driver was waiting for us exactly as promised. On our return transfer we had a very early morning flight and needed to be picked up at 3am. Everything they promised was delivered as our car was very prompt on time as we finished checking out of our hotel our taxi was right outside waiting for us. I highly recommend this company if you need a transfer from getting to the airport to your hotel. They are by far the best bang for your buck. You will not find a more professional service and it is the best price in town.

Anche se l'autista non ha fumato in nostra presenza, per un'ora abbiamo respirato aria puzzolente, una volta arrivati abbiamo dovuto lavare tutti i vestiti per togliere l'odore. Con una bimba al seguito non ci è sembrato opportuno inviarci un autista che fuma in auto, anche se solo in assenza di viaggiatori.

Angel Taxi was great. The driver met us at the airport as predetermined, and took us to our hotel without a problem. The car was clean and air-conditioned. The driver did not speak english, but this was not a problem, as he had the address beforehand. Angel Taxi was less than the other taxi services, and so we were able upgrade the car for less than an economy car with the other services. I would certainly use Angel again and recommend you to use them as well.

Yes, our Standard (and even Comfort class) fares are less, than Economy class fares with some other taxi services in Moscow. We do dispatch taxi with English-speaking drivers in Moscow but if there are traffic jams or the flight is delayed (as was the case with Basya's arrival) and the driver has another booking pending, we sometimes have to replace the driver with the one with fewer English skills.

Pontual, motorista falando inglês. pagamento na hora e não no ato da reserva, com preço justo. Tudo o que eu precisava. Quando ainda estávamos na fila da imigração recebi uma ligação da empresa para dizer que o motorista estava no aeroporto nos aguardando e no dia seguinte ligaram para saber como tinha sido o serviço e se estaria confirmada a volta. Claro!

We used Angel taxis twice this week. Firstly a very early pick up from Moscow centre to SVO. Driver arrived on time, good steady drive and spoke very good English. Second time late evening from SVO to Moscow Centre, we could not see driver after exiting from arrival, but found him 10 minutes later. A bit of an erratic start to the drive (undertaking a big lorry) but calmed down after that. I would not hesitate to recommend company to others.

We were met at the agreed time at the airport. We received a text to confirm our taxi was outside while coming through passports. Our driver was polite and friendly and spoke some English. He got us to the hotel in an hour despite heavy traffic and was very good at getting round the worst of it. Everything was as we had hoped and we were very pleased with the service. On our return to the airport, the car had not arrived at 9.45 as arranged , and we immediately received a call from the office that he was in traffic and would be with us in 5 minutes, which he was. Over the years we have encountered a variety of issues when the driver has to wait for the passenger (immigration issues, booking in the airport hotel, flight delays, etc.) We only ask our passengers to be in touch with us (i.e. answer the phone calls) so that we could know what is the problem and how long approximately we will have to await for you.
I booked a taxi from st petersburg airport to nevsky prospect. We couldn't meet with the driver at first, but angel taxi service was very helpful and had us find each other quickly. As for the price, it changes a lot I guess from company to company. We paid 1100 rubles. Some other company told us the price was 1350 rubles. However for our return booking to the airport, we paid 800 rubles to XYZ taxis. It was cheaper, but Angel Taxi had very good service and an english speaking driver. so it is worth to pay the extra amount.

Airport transfer taxi fares in Moscow are higher that in St. Petersburg, because airports in Moscow are further from the city than the one in St. Petersburg.

We use the best mobile card-riders we have found so far to accept payment for taxi in Moscow by Visa or MasterCard (see video). Still, occasionally, payments don’t go thru (no internet connection or some problems with the card). That’s why we ask the clients to pay at the beginning of the trip so that they and the driver know of any problems before the end of the trip and find an ATM to withdraw cash. Our drivers speak basic English adequate for the work, but they are not interpreters and do not speak fluent English. We provide services of interpreters in Moscow separately :). In fact, we don’t want our drivers to speak much during trips, as their job is to drive fluently, rather than speak. Even though Angel presents itself as a cab company, it offers many other premium services and great value for the money, as we got to experience first-hand in our trip. A group of creative professionals (graphic and industrial designers) was coming to Moscow for an inspirational trip. We knew we needed to have someone available to take us around for the entire day, for all six days we were spending in the city to take full advantage of our trip. So, after some online research we came across Angel.
We read very positive reviews about their business, and the receptionist at the Mercure Arbat hotel (where we were staying) confirmed that they provided good quality service, indeed.
When we first contacted them, we had an idea of what we were hoping to experience in our trip to Moscow. After a few email exchanges with Alexander at Angel-Taxi, we were able to explain to him that our group was interested in learning more about the history of Graphic and Industrial Design in Russia, along with the historical and cultural aspects of the country.
We did not want to see only the typical touristic places, but aspects of daily life too. We wanted to take part on a very specific learning journey, in which we did not know exactly how to go about, where to begin or where to end. Here Angel surprised us. Alexander did his homework and came back to us with a full list of places to visit. From war and history museums, to contemporary underground art galleries, industry and technology museums – and everything in between. And, believe it or not, it was all broken down into a day-to-day itinerary with the option to customize our visits to cover everything we wanted to see. The list included places that even Moscow inhabitants are not fully aware of their existence. Alexander asked if he could come along with us and be our guide for the six days we were in town, and we are glad he came along.
He managed to get a former WWII pilot to take us on an exclusive tour of the Air Force Museum, with full detailed explanations of each aircraft in their exhibit and prototypes. One day, we were headed to the Museum of Design and we were told that the museum was closed for a private event – actually, a Fashion Show promoted by a car manufacturer, which was closed to the public and only invitation holders could get in. Being designers, this was an interesting thing for us to see, and believe it or not, after some chatting with the hostesses, Alexander got us in. Translations were a great part of what Alexander had provided us e exceeded our expectations and the service was great. I recommend Angel to anyone visiting Moscow, for sure. As mentioned before, Angel is not your average cab company. It is much more than that:with. Knowing his way around was a huge asset. We would not be able to see half of what we saw in Moscow without him and everything Angel provided us with. We went to see all the touristic places in Moscow and got to learn a lot about its history, its culture and its importance as a contemporary cosmopolitan powerhouse in Eurasia. Also, we experienced the daily lives of Muscovites, their hardships and their joy, which made our visit even more especial, making the trip one of the best we've taken in our lives.
We gave Alexander a huge task. He went above and beyond to make it happen. This was all new to Alexander, as he had never worked on such a specific trip; however, h it is your opportunity to see Moscow as only a few people get to see it. And that was exactly what we hoped to experience there.

Besides, this feedback contains a few ideas how to get taxi in Moscow easier and faster. One of them is to contact a company with years of experience and expertise in taxi in such a city as Moscow.
Thank you for your follow up. Generally we were satisfied with your service and be happy to recommend you to others and certainly use you again on our next visit. As requested we are happy to give you our feedback, please see below our comments and suggestions, hope they help.
- our initial contact was quickly responded to and the arrangements were confirmed, however this was very confusing and we needed a few emails to ensure we were comfortable that service we asked for was being delivered. Suggest you need to create a standard format for your replies to clients, a template, which includes and confirms all relevant information re pick up, times, type of car, numbers, date etc. This would help with your client being more comfortable, particularly for anyone who is visiting Moscow for the first time.
It sometimes takes more than a minute due to rush hours (with extreme loads on our operators) or when we need to check data in the request. The problem that DOES happen sometimes is the clients’ request going to SPAM folder or our replies going thereto.
- pick up at airport was fine, however pick up at hotel was confusing as we expected a car and not a taxi, we waited for a few minutes before getting a call from you to confirm a taxi was waiting outside of hotel. The driver could have got out of the cab and let the hotel receptionist know he was waiting, he would have seen us standing outside of the hotel. Again this caused confusion and at early hours of morning unwanted.
Point taken, but some hotels in Moscow don't have available parking lots for the driver to put the car and go to the reception or even for the car to stand still waiting at the exit and sometimes the car has to cruise around the block (!) again and again before the client comes out. Moreover, downtown parking rules, introduced in Moscow, seem messy and sometimes even the car WITH the driver inside standing on the street induces subsequent parking fine.
We hope the above helps and again thank you, overall we were happy with your service.

We used Angel Taxis in February 2018 to take our students to Moscow City. I had agreed a price for the 8 seater minibus by email before I left the UK. The Angel taxi driver arrived on time to the airport and we had a pleasant journey to the capital. He dropped us off in the downtown at around 6pm and we agreed to be picked up at 10pm. The taxi operator contacted me and he was happy for me to ring him if we had any problems. We enjoyed our tour of Red Square but it got really cold and I rang to see if we could be picked up at 9pm instead. This was no bother and our taxi driver came to meet us and took us back.
I would like to recommend this to any traveller who needs a safe and reliable service to and from the airport. I felt safe and secure knowing that the Angel Taxi firm would help us as it was our first visit to Moscow.
Our main trip was a school exchange project “Challenge To Change” in Kirovsk where we are twinned with School. We spent a wonderful week with the staff and pupils of School 7 and were amazed at their warmth and hospitality. We hope that when School 7 visits us in Ireland next year they will receive the same great treatment!

We made arrangements with Angel Taxi before our trip from the U.S. My wife and I flew into Sheremetyevo airport, where our driver was waiting to take us to our hotel. After spending a few days sightseeing in Moscow, our driver picked us up at the hotel and took us to Sheremetyevo airport to catch a Russian domestic flight. On returning to Moscow, more than two months later our driver was waiting for us at Vnukovo airport and took us to our hotel near Sheremetyevo airport. Everything worked smoothly. I wanted a free and easy tour to Suzdal, Vladimir and Siergev Posad and Alex, our guide, was quick to advise. Although it required many many emails before anything was resolved, it all went well. He speaks good english and we enjoyed our time in those 3 small towns. The Museum of Wooden Architecture was beautiful with the snow. Alex also introduced some georgian and local food to us like kvass and beetroot salad. Only thing that didnt deserve another star was that my husband is a 6 footer and Alex is even taller and we had to squeeze into a sedan car with all our bulky winter clothes. Would have been better in a van (like other tours). All good tho.

We took the Kremlin tour with a very nice and knowledgeable guide (Alexander). We were able to jump the queues at both the Kremlin gate and the Armory entrance. This is also the only tour I can find that includes a visit to the Diamond Fund, which is eye opening. Highly recommend.

The tour to the Monino airforce museum was very interesting. We were picked up from the hotel and delivered straight to the museum, where Alexander gave us a very informative tour. All of the tour was good and enjoyable. I liked the most visiting the Lavra and the artist's house. I liked to see and being told about all the old things which nowadays nobody uses anymore. The artist and his wife seemed very welcoming and nice persons. It felt very private and it defenitly felt being well off tourist tracks, which we always love. The tour through Lavra was perfect concerning duration and our guide was enthusiastic, which we liked. Our daughter Nathalie ejoyed the artist's house most, also the Matreschkas. The other daughter Julika enjoyed most the Matruschkas as well, their making and the traditional Russian food. The place for lunch was very nice to our taste. Of course it was a pleasure that the ride from and back to Moscow came on time without waiting time. The driver (also to and from DME) drove safely.

Unfortunately, severe traffic jams in Moscow often happen and that is why instead of a pre-assigned driver we have to dispatch the nearest one. If KIA Sportage III or similar SUVs and estate cars on average are too small for 4 passengers and luggage, we'd recommend our clients to book a minivan to be on the safe side.
We were a party of four that booked a tour with Angel Tours Moscow to the Monino air force museum and we could not be more happy! We had Alexander as a guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about air crafts and the history behind them. Alexander is a fantastic guide and very friendly. The Monino Museum is a must for everyone interested in air crafts and engineering. The museum is outdoors and covers the early history to present time, truly an amazing museum, one of the best in the world of it's kind. The driver picked that picked us up at the hotel was excellent and we all agreed that the whole arrangement was really professional. We used Angel Tours for our transfers from and to the Domodedovo Airport and also for a private car tour of the city of Moscow and a day visit to the monastery complex of Sergiev Posad. The airport transfers were OK with just a slightly late arrival of the driver on both directions but without creating any problem.
The day visit to Sergiev Posad was amazing. The whole complex is extremely see worthing, interesting and beautiful. Alexander, our excellent guide, arranged for us a guide in our language, Greek, which made more interesting our visit. A special mention should be made to that lady Elena for her knowledge of the history of the place and her professionalism but also for her knowledge of the Greek language.
Next day our visit of the city of Moscow, always guided by Alexander, was also very successful. Alexander has a very satisfactory knowledge of his subject and he speaks a perfect English. He contributed a lot to the success of our trip to Moscow! We recommend Angel Tours and also personally Alexander and Elena to all readers planning to visit Moscow.

This taxi company is very reliable. Rates are always very transparent and clear from the beginning. During my transfer from airport to apartment, the driver waited for me 2 hours at airport since I experienced a very long queue at passport control. Instead of going away leaving me in troubles, he waited for me the entire time at the airport, and I paid just a little extra money for the waiting. It's also possible to communicate with them via Whatsapp and/or Viber! This is very important if you are planning to use only Wi-Fi and you have no way to call russian numbers from your mobile phone. It's also important to keep in touch with them while waiting for taxi in order to minimize any inconvenience (for example, I just told them in advance that I was going to be late at the airport, therefore they informed the driver and I found him outside even after 2 hours of waiting time). I really recommend this company for your trips in Moscow!

Dear Clients, this fall Moscow has seen unusual unexpected traffic jams most of the time and in all the directions, hence 1) in case the English-speaking driver gets into a traffic jam en route to an airport we replace him with the closest one who doesn't speak English and our English-speaking operators coordinate Meet & Greet; 2) please allocate plenty of time for your departures to airports to be on the safe side: ailrlines want you to be at the airport at least 2 hrs before the int'l flights, factor in at least 1-1,5 hrs to get to an airport from Moscow downtown. 3) Angel is one of the few taxi companies in Moscow that charge per mileage, not per time, hence our fixed prices for the taxi in Moscow. That is why there is not use for our drivers to drive around the city to inflate the bill - the price is fixed, irrespective on how long or how much you would drive during the trip, whose fare is calculated on the shortest route. I had contacted Angel Taxi before we (group of 4 adults) started our journey from Sharjah (UAE) to Moscow and they arranged pick up from the Airport to the Hotel we had booked. The driver was waiting outside with a sign board and was easy to locate. We had night programs fixed and we booked the taxi to take us to the venue and drop us back after the show. The service was on time and we would rate the service as outstanding. Similarly we had booked the taxi to drop us at the Station to take the early train to St. Petersburg and pick us back when we returned late the same day after sightseeing there. The taxi was spot on time both ways. Angel tours had arranged a sight-seeing tour in St Petersburg and we would recommend that anybody visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg get in touch with Angel Taxi/ Tours to get the best deal. They have excellent English speaking guides who really knows the job and provide with all information that you need to know about a particular landmark. On our return, Angel Taxi provided the vehicle with an English speaking driver to drop us back at the Airport. To conclude, we recommend all tourists who have never been to Russia, to contact Angel Taxi/ tours for outstanding service. We would also comment that the rates are very reasonable copared to what the Hotels charge you for pickup and drop off at the Airport.

We had 3 shuttles going to the airport at 7:15 am, 9am, and 4 pm; and shuttles going from river cruise port to hotel. Once that was done. It exceeded my expectation. The drivers were professional and on time. Some of them spoke little English, but they had sign with my name. I received updates from Alexander (angel Taxi) advising me of road traffic and the arrival of my driver. Prices were very reasonable and agreed upon before hand. Highly recommended to any traveler to Moscow.

Super visit to Monino Museum. We had asked Alexander of Angel Taxi to organize a custom, all-day visit to Monino Air Forces Museum my son and I had been planning for a long time. Our expectations were high but Angel Taxi met them in full. They picked us up at the hotel in Moscow early and we arrived at Monino Museum as it was opening its doors. We stayed until closing time. Alexander accompanied us throughout the visit and proved to be a very knowledgeable guide. He had also arranged for a retired senior Air Force pilot to join us for a couple of hours and give us an insight of what it was to develop and fly some of the aircraft on display. Fascinating stuff! It was a very warm day but Alexander had been thoughtful enough to bring bottles of cold water with him. We really appreciated the attention. At the end of our visit, Alexander drove us back safely to our hotel, after a truly memorable day. We will look no further than Angel Taxi for our future needs for transportation in Moscow (or other cities where Angel operates). Amazing Aviation History. We were in Moscow for two days and I had always heard through aviation circles that the Monino museum was worth visiting. Most of my enquiry at the hotel desk remained unanswered other than it was a way out of town. After much searching the net I came up with an email address for Angel taxis and sent a short notice hopeful email. Alexander immediately responded and a very useful dialogue started even including weather advice, culminating in my family and I being picked up from our hotel the next day, driven to Monino museum and given a guided tour. Alexander at Angel TAXI is a miracle worker, he knows so much about Russian aviation history and the whole experience went as smooth as clockwork. Very impressive indeed. The museum itself is stunning and is a mandatory visit for any aviators or enthusiasts.

“A brave new world”, was exactly how my guide introduced me to the journey I was about to take getting to know Moscow and St. Petersburg. I spent three weeks researching where to go, what to see and how to get to each destination. I reached out to several companies and every time Angel Tours Moscow not only replied quickly but their prices were totally fair for the level of service I was requesting.
The bonus for me was that Angel Tours of Moscow provides two services that matched my needs exactly – touring the sites and getting to the sites. I planned a 7 day trip to experience Moscow and St. Petersburg which included airport pickups, pickup to and from high speed train, taxi service to and from hotels and restaurants. Upon my arrival, I was met by Igor, a really happy guy with a great smile. There he was standing at the gate exit with a sign with my name ready to take me and my bag and drive me to Hotel Kamergersky. My hotel was located on a pedestrian street so Igor could not drive me to my hotel door. As Igor was explaining this point to me, he gestured to the taxi door and there, smiling, was Alexander, the man behind Angel Tours in Moscow. Hi, he said. Here let me help you. He took my hand helping me out of the taxi. He then insisted on taking my bag and then proceeded to walk me to my hotel – not just to the door but made sure that I was checked in and after which he confirmed the times for pickup for our first tour.
Throughout this trip my experience with Angel Tours of Moscow was wonderfully the same. Igor was always right on time for each and every pickup and each tour guide was always so accommodating. When planning your trip please see if these tour guides are available Alexander, Masha, Nadya and Alyona and of course Igor.
On the last day of my trip, I made a last minute request. I asked to be taken 2 hours outside of Moscow to a town called Fedoskino. In Fedoskino they make the famous Lacquer boxes and they are one of the oldest manufactures of this wonderful craft. I figured I’m all the way here in Russia and since it’s not around the corner from Los Angeles, I ought to take a chance and see if I can make it to Fedoskino so that I can see first-hand the magic of how Lacquer boxes are made. I called Alexander and shared my request and after a few moments of arranging he called me back with a confirmed pickup time – Wow! Of course Igor was right on time and away we went. My visit to Fedoskino factor was wonderful – especially since I love learning how things are made and those boxes are just so wonderful. I was over the moon happy with my decision to take the last minute trip to Fedoskino.
In my opinion if you’re looking for a company that can transport you around Moscow and St. Petersburg look no further than Angel Tours of Moscow. They are friendly, their prices are fair, they’re accommodating, prompt and all of it with a smile. I would use their service again without hesitation.

Fantastic Private Tours in Moscow Area. My teenage daughter had knee surgery and thus I had to cancel the physical accelerated-pace group tour and get a private tour last minute so we could take it easy, if needed. What a great experience it turned out to be with Angel Taxi. Friendly, on time, knowledgeable, and comfortable autos. Alex planned our tour considering our situation and requests. We brought a wheel chair and they accommodated. We also brought my 75 year old mother.
Our 1st tour was to Serguiev Posad. We were so comfortable in the Audi 6. The driver was so pleasant and went out of his way so that I could re-load my cell phone coverage at Beeline. Alex was the guide and he is from this town & clearly he is passionate about it and loves the area. It's so beautiful. The monastery was a must-see. Also enjoyed the things he added to the tour such as the Matryoshka studio & museums. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, intelligent and cares about you really getting to know Russia, then book this agency.
Our 2nd tour was Moscow proper. We spent most of the day in the Kremlin. We visited Lenin's tomb which is impactful. Of course, went into St. Basil's, and many interesting things within the Kremlin. The most amazing was the visit to the Armoury and the State Diamond Fund. Wow. I have seen many museums in the world. Nothing beats the Armoury for collection of carriages and costumes. Nothing beats the museum of jewels and gold; better even than the Crown Jewels in Tower of London. Alex took us to a local chain of pancakes & blinis...cheap and so yummy. Try the clear birch tree juice. We also loved pelmeni, vareniki. I loved the tuna tartar salad but Alex doesn't recommend it in Moscow. Regardless it was yummy. We never got sick.
Our 3rd day of tour was to Suzdal. Vladimir and Bogolyubsky (towns in the Golden Ring). It was a super long day. In retrospect, I would have split this in 2 days. I still think Suzdal, the furthest, is worth it. The village recreated for a museum is a great stop. Vladimir was once the capital of Russia. Bogolyubsky was a worthy stop...here we visited an operating monastery and tasted the nun's kvas (a non- alcoholic refreshing drink made from fermented wheat & rye, I think).
BTW, Angel Taxi also provided us with airport transfers and they were very good at it. We really loved our trip to Russia.

Your service was faultless! The two drivers we got were both good. In particular the first, Vova (if I remember correctly) was able to talk in English fluently, gave us useful advices and was very easy going with our son. As it is already mentioned in your site the biggest issue is that your answer goes directly to the spam folder. It happened to me as well! It was just by luck that I checked the always crowded spam folder. Could be an issue with gmail, so you could browse the internet for suggestion.
I suggest that you instruct the driver about the location of restaurants, bars and shops around the location of the customers' hotel, perhaps providing them with business card for the restaurants etc.. (Of course if customers ask the driver...). All the best, and congratulations for your target of 1990 foreign customers! I will suggest your services to my friends!

I have been meaning to give you this feedback and to thank you for all the service. It was very very nice. I even talked to my friend how nice and on time it all went, and that made us very happy! The presentation of the 2nd driver (who took us from the Golden Apple hotel to the train station in Moscow) was very good and the car was really clean. He was on time and very nice helping with the luggage. It was perfect. The payments were smooth and we had no problems whatsoever. The 3rd driver (the one who picked us up on the train station in St. Petersburg and took us to Lion hotel) was also very very nice, he helped with the bags all the way and gave us precious information about the city. He was very talkative and nice. The car was clean and comfortable. He even went inside the train to look for us. He was very friendly. We loved him. The first driver was also punctual, but he did not help with the bags and he "ran really fast" in the streets outside the airport, and we were so tired after the long flight it was very hard to follow him, specially because the bags. For a moment I thought about stop trying to follow him because it was too hard and he was very fast. But he looked back and got one bag out of us near the car. His car was very very dirty. But he was nice, spoke English and accepted payment in dollars which was good for us since we didn't have rubles. So it was all good. I think everything went really well and I totally recommend your services !

I was able to email the company and inform them of the delay and to adjust my pick up time not once but twice. Everything was done professionally and our driver was waiting for us exactly as promised. On our return transfer we had a very early morning flight and needed to be picked up at 3am. Everything they promised was delivered as our car was very prompt on time as we finished checking out of our hotel our taxi was right outside waiting for us. I highly recommend this company if you need a transfer from getting to the airport to your hotel. They are by far the best bang for your buck. You will not find a more professional service and it is the best price in town.

Angel Taxi was great. The driver met us at the airport as predetermined, and took us to our hotel without a problem. The car was clean and air-conditioned. The driver did not speak english, but this was not a problem, as he had the address beforehand. Angel Taxi was less than the other taxi services, and so we were able upgrade the car for less than an economy car with the other services. I would certainly use Angel again and recommend you to use them as well.

Yes, our Standard (and even Comfort class) fares are less, than Economy class fares with some other taxi services in Moscow. We do dispatch taxi with English-speaking drivers in Moscow but if there are traffic jams or the flight is delayed (as was the case with Basya's arrival) and the driver has another booking pending, we sometimes have to replace the driver with the one with fewer English skills.

Alexander, We really enjoyed the One Day Sergiev Posad Tour, as planned by Angel Taxi and especially as you explained. Our tour included museums, the Monastery and Matreshka. You gave us an outstanding tour. With this tour, we really got oriented to Ancient Russian Civilization, the famous St. Sergiev Monastery and the history behind Matreshka toys and the beautiful town of Sergiev Posad. More importantly, we learned about Russian Orthodox Churches. This was our first visit to any Monastery and we were totally impressed with the Institution. This was certainly the best and memorable part of our time in and around Moscow and Russia. Many thanks to you and to your pleasant personality that made this such an experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Moscow, especially for initial orientation to the churches, monasteries, St. Sergiev and the story behind Matreshka toys. Happy we did this.

Para quem ia chegar de madrugada e cansado do ritmo de viagens, o que eu queria era um anjo para me levar pro hotel. E num é que achei? Se chama literalmente Angel-Taxi. Pontual, motorista falando inglês. pagamento na hora e não no ato da reserva, com preço justo. Tudo o que eu precisava. Quando ainda estávamos na fila da imigração recebi uma ligação da empresa para dizer que o motorista estava no aeroporto nos aguardando e no dia seguinte ligaram para saber como tinha sido o serviço e se estaria confirmada a volta. Claro!

For last transfer from Saint Petersburg Hotel to Airport, driver came little late. We used Angel taxis twice this week. Firstly a very early pick up from Moscow centre to SVO. Driver arrived on time, good steady drive and spoke very good English. Second time late evening from SVO to Moscow Centre, we could not see driver after exiting from arrival, but found him 10 minutes later. A bit of an erratic start to the drive (undertaking a big lorry) but calmed down after that. I would not hesitate to recommend company to others.

We were met at the agreed time at the airport. We received a text to confirm our taxi was outside while coming through passports. Our driver was polite and friendly and spoke some English. He got us to the hotel in an hour despite heavy traffic and was very good at getting round the worst of it. Everything was as we had hoped and we were very pleased with the service. On our return to the airport, the car had not arrived at 9.45 as arranged , and we immediately received a call from the office that he was in traffic and would be with us in 5 minutes, which he was. The same driver as before, polite, friendly, and a good run to the airport. Both journeys were very good. We have recommended Angel to friends who are travelling to Moscow in June. Over the years we have encountered a variety of issues when the driver has to wait for the passenger (immigration issues, booking in the airport hotel, flight delays, etc.) We only ask our passengers to be in touch with us (i.e. answer the phone calls) so that we could know what is the problem and how long approximately we will have to await for you.
I booked a taxi from st petersburg airport to nevsky prospect. We couldn't meet with the driver at first, but angel taxi service was very helpful and had us find each other quickly. As for the price, it changes a lot I guess from company to company. We paid 1100 rubles. Some other company told us the price was 1350 rubles. However for our return booking to the airport, we paid 800 rubles to XYZ taxis. It was cheaper, but Angel Taxi had very good service and an english speaking driver. so it is worth to pay the extra amount.

With regard to my pickup at the airport on Sunday morning the airplane landed earlier than expected and there was a bit of confusion as to the meeting place, but your driver was there at the appointed time and knew exactly where to take me. We use the best mobile card-riders we have found so far to accept payment for taxi in Moscow by Visa or MasterCard (see video). Still, occasionally, payments don’t go thru (no internet connection or some problems with the card). That’s why we ask the clients to pay at the beginning of the trip so that they and the driver know of any problems before the end of the trip and find an ATM to withdraw cash.
Our drivers speak basic English adequate for the work, but they are not interpreters and do not speak fluent English. We provide services of interpreters in Moscow separately :). In fact, we don’t want our drivers to speak much during trips, as their job is to drive fluently, rather than speak.
Besides, sometimes for the trips on short notice, we dispatch a driver with no English so that the client could get taxi in Moscow ASAP. Our English-speaking operators handle those situations smoothly and conveniently for clients.

Thanks to Angel Taxi for the excellent service received in our pickup from the train station a few days ago. Although the driver was not waiting on the platform in front of our carriage (he was about a minute late), we easily found him at the end of the platform before entering the terminal. A group of creative professionals (graphic and industrial designers) was coming to Moscow for an inspirational trip. We knew we needed to have someone available to take us around for the entire day, for all six days we were spending in the city to take full advantage of our trip. So, after some online research we came across Angel.
When we first contacted them, we had an idea of what we were hoping to experience in our trip to Moscow. After a few email exchanges with Alexander at Angel-Taxi, we were able to explain to him that our group was interested in learning more about the history of Graphic and Industrial Design in Russia, along with the historical and cultural aspects of the country.
We wanted to take part on a very specific learning journey, in which we did not know exactly how to go about, where to begin or where to end. Here Angel surprised us.
Alexander did his homework and came back to us with a full list of places to visit. From war and history museums, to contemporary underground art galleries, industry and technology museums – and everything in between. And, believe it or not, it was all broken down into a day-to-day itinerary with the option to customize our visits to cover everything we wanted to see. The list included places that even Moscow inhabitants are not fully aware of their existence. Alexander asked if he could come along with us and be our guide for the six days we were in town, and we are glad he came along.
Translations were a great part of what Alexander had provided us e exceeded our expectations and the service was great. I recommend Angel to anyone visiting Moscow, for sure. As mentioned before, Angel is not your average cab company. It is much more than that:with. Knowing his way around was a huge asset. We would not be able to see half of what we saw in Moscow without him and everything Angel provided us with. We went to see all the touristic places in Moscow and got to learn a lot about its history, its culture and its importance as a contemporary cosmopolitan powerhouse in Eurasia. Also, we experienced the daily lives of Muscovites, their hardships and their joy, which made our visit even more especial, making the trip one of the best we've taken in our lives.

I needed a taxi from Moscow downtown on Wednesday. Angel’s prices were lower than those in other taxi companies in Moscow I called. Moreover, in fact it was 100 rubles lowr than the dispatcher had quoted. I had fractured my leg in the morning and I barely hobbled to the taxi. The driver drove very carefully. The taxi fare did not change despite the traffic jams. I am bookmarking the website for sure.
